Resurgent Young American Bourbon
Resurgent “Young American” Bourbon is a variation on our “Custom Cask” bourbon. Distilled and aged in Indiana from a specially designed small grains mash bill with a higher corn content and a high rye content lending the finished spirit a spicy, complex perfection. Resurgent Bourbon is blended to offer a lighter, highly approachable bourbon that shines in cocktails without overpowering other creatively added ingredients.
Nosed for balance and readiness to bottle, this bourbon offers a slightly less wood influenced taste profile. Malted barley finishes the base with a sweetness . . . and remarkably soft mouth feel. Bottled in very small batch, hand blended and bottled, we offer our “Young American” at cask strength and encourage you to add pure spring water to open the nose and encourage the notes of honey, peach and peppery vanilla as it flows over the tongue.
